The training in Integrative Sexuality at the Cercle de Consciència presents, in its second edition, this cycle of 4 workshops in Madrid as the development of an exploratory and therapeutic approach to sexuality, with a special focus on the somatic approach and bodily experience.
The objective is to create a space of trust and accompaniment in which to deepen learning about sexuality as a transversal and essential axis in life.
We are aware of the times in which we are living socially, and how this inevitably affects our lives, relationships and also the way we understand and enjoy our sexuality. This is the reason why we mention in almost every workshop the importance of feel that we are social agents with the function of contributing to this integrative and healing view of sexuality.
In this second edition, we are going to give more value to this aspect and we are going to take it into account and go further.
What is the way of living my/our sexuality that brings me/us closer to or further away from the values we want to sow, that are true to me, to our environment, essential and in harmony with life?
In a world where pleasure is accelerated, eroticism is questioned and contact is anaesthetised, from the school's Sexuality area and this new cycle of monographs in Madrid, we propose a space for *.explore what we inhabit, what we are, what we desire and what we keep silent about.*.
What are we going to address in this cycle?
Each monograph will be a gateway to:
- Desire as a vital and social force.
- The metaphor of the body as a reading of life and sexuality.
- Slowness, consent and presence as revolution.
- Sexuality that does not shout, but whispers: integrative, real, transformative.
Who is it aimed at?
Anyone who wants to feel vital in their body, real in their emotions and live sexuality as a space of *presence, coherence, listening, pleasure and social awareness.
It is not about learning techniques, but about remembering how to inhabit yourself with dignity and joy. And so you too can be a force for change.
Workshop Cycle Calendar
WORKSHOP 1: 29 and 30 November - "BODY MEANING. Roots of integrative sexuality".
In this first meeting we will create an experiential and trusting space where we will welcome the body as a territory of pleasure, play, tenderness, vitality and self-care.
Through somatic dynamics, movement and dialogue, we will open the door to the most intimate, sensual, spontaneous expression, giving freedom to the expression of a more conscious body that is willing to connect, feel and be felt.
Recognising and attending to our sensations and emotions engraved on our skin, in our breathing, in our movement patterns... is what transforms the way we live our experiences. "Body Sense" invites us to inhabit a more integrative sexuality that unites presence, care and connection with our most authentic roots.
WORKSHOP 2: 14 and 15 February - "RELATIONAL EROTISM: Developing the erotic connection"..
In this second meeting we will work on the dimension of eroticism in our relationships, how we cultivate intimacy and authentic communication, understanding that it is not only about attraction, but also about communication, agreements and mutual care.
How is desire and fear expressed? Through a somatic approach we will explore how desire and limits are expressed in the body, and how we can transcend insecurities to generate more conscious and respectful bonds. We will practice tools to help us recognise our needs, communicate them clearly and listen to those of the other person, creating fertile ground for trust and erotic connection.
It will be a space for practice and reflection, with an experiential methodology that combines body work, group dynamics and dialogue.
WORKSHOP 3: 30 and 31 May – “EMBODIED DIVERSITY: Pleasure and sexuality beyond the norm”.
This monograph proposes an update to our relationship with pleasure and sexuality as a living and continuously changing experience. Throughout our lives, we internalise norms about how sexuality should be felt, expressed and lived: which bodies are desirable, which forms are legitimate, which practices are acceptable or how relationships should be organised.
And suddenly, we realise that we feel pigeonholed into a specific form, that perhaps we no longer feel comfortable with some of those narratives, that something is telling us that new, more conscious and careful ways are possible, with values more in tune with our idea of pleasure, bonds and intimacy.
In this gathering we will question together what we have learned and update what is now alive in you, what makes the most sense to you, and perhaps you will discover that it does so for others too. This workshop is created with the intention of inhabiting a more embodied sexuality and opening up a space of honesty, freedom and reflection that invites us to grow and to feel more authentic and happy with who we are and what we feel.
In addition, it will be a lovely closing gathering and an expression of gratitude for everything experienced during this second cycle.
