Cuida't si Cuides: a space for you to take care of yourself.
A space for you, who cares. An initiative aimed at parents of sons or daughters with disabilities.
Being the mother or father of a child with a disability is a challenge that can test you in every aspect. If you are caught by uncertainty about a future you cannot manage to imagine, if exhaustion, guilt and loneliness overwhelm you in this unexpected present.
Take care of yourself, if you care for others offers you:
- A safe and judgement-free space to express fears, doubts and emotions.
- Strategies for managing stress, setting healthy boundaries and boosting self-esteem.
- Emotional support and connection with other families going through similar experiences.
- Tools for including the needs of the whole family: siblings, grandparents, partner.
- Tailored support to help you envisage a calmer and more hopeful future.
